Psychological assessment- COMING SOON

I have extensive training in differential diagnosis assessments for young children.  If your child is struggling at home, daycare, school, or in different environments and you are unsure why- I can help. Diagnoses I am experienced in assessing for include autism, anxiety, mood, ADHD, developmental delays, and more. My assessments are trauma and culturally-informed which limits the misdiagnosis of young children.

I start by meeting with the caregiver(s) only via telehealth to ask them questions about their child, have them complete questionnaires, and collect contact information for caregivers in other environments that may be able to contribute to my understanding of the child.

I then meet with the child for the testing process. Some of the tools I may use are the ADOS-2 (gold standard for assessing autism), an IQ test to learn more about the way the child's mind works, and any other tests I feel are necessary.

Once testing is complete and all questionnaires are collected, I attempt to finish the report in a month or less. If something interferes with this, I always communicate with the caregivers. I meet with the caregiver(s), typically via telehealth, to provide detailed feedback about the results and allow the caregiver time to ask any questi

I often schedule a session with the child to explain the results as well.
